Why did we create Her Umbrella Magazine?

Well hey there!

It's so nice to see you again! I cant believe we are back here where it all started prepping for our new magazine.

Recently I've taken on teaching seminars, creating courses and public speaking and the one question I always get asked is...WHY. Why did you create a magazine?

Well that's a great question!

How often do you ask yourself 'why' about any of the choices you make? The answer often varies. We do things to make us happy. Whether that's because it makes money, it serves a greater good or just because it's something we love.

For me, it's because I need to help people!
​Sure I help people every day. My customers, clients, my children, and my friends. But it wasn't enough. I knew I could help more people if only I could reach them. So I set about researching ways to reach people.

​I was already teaching at seminars. People would come, have a little bit of fun, learn a lot and go home motivated and empowered. It was great! But that fades.

And when it does, these amazing women, who's gifts are so needed in the world can sometimes go back to doubting themselves and their dreams.

This bothered me! I realised that I needed to reach them at home. Reach them when the doubt and struggle sets in. How often have you sat in the night wondering if you could make your dream work? I know I have.

So I decided to create a magazine. One that was right there with you the moment you need it the most! One that entertains, educates and empowers women to know that they CAN do it!! And here we are! One fantastic magazine, one incredible method of helping people and one awe inspiring group of women without whom this whole thing would not be possible...
