MOTHERHOOD AND BUSINESS

AMY EVERON - THE NOSTALGIC WICK

As any good circus performer would know, you’ve just got to get the basics right before you throw the balls in the air. If you don’t chaos will reign supreme!

Same for me - only my balls have two arms, two legs and heart beats! If I don’t manage my timing, the balls just don’t perform as they should. You get my drift. My balls need good timing - I can’t be creating stunning little honey pots of divine smells when the only thing I can smell belongs in a nappy! If I don’t have the right timing, and I add too many balls into the air, I’m likely to have them all hit the floor with me in the middle of them!

Allocating time into pockets is vital - some for my house, my husband, my kids and my business, in no particular priority, is vital to make my circus work.

The most important thing is flexibility. Those of us who have had the pleasure of bearing offspring know that their built in radar does not align to your rigid timetable, and they haven’t worked out that if they eat when you ask them to, get dressed when you suggest, etc, will lead to a very happy mummy. That comes as they grow older - it’s then called manipulation!

I wouldn't have my world any other way ♥
