KATARINA LOTTCHEN - HER UMBRELLA MARKETING

Starting an online magazine is no easy feat as Katarina Wurzbacher knows only too well. Katarina created Her Umbrella Magazine when she grew frustrated with the lack of support services specifically for women who want to start a small business.

As a full time working single parent with two teenagers, Katarina was no stranger to hard work but was determined to live her dream. She undertook every class and attended every course she could get her hands on. Eventually signing up to study marketing and finally opening her own agency.

It didn't take long however for Katarina to realise that living her dream was not fulfilling enough. She not only wanted to help herself, she wanted to help others. She especially wanted to help women in similar situations realise that they too can live their dreams, and Her Umbrella was born.


 
WHEN WOMEN SUPPORT EACH OTHER INCREDIBLE THINGS HAPPEN

Her Umbrella now has nearly 5000 followers on social media and encompasses 4 separate businesses with 9 women contributing to the magazine.

Katarina has also been nominated for Bundaberg Chamber of Commerce New Business of the year, Micro Business of the year and is a nominee for the Ausmumpreneur Business Awards.

Her Umbrella not only provides a monthly magazine but also support services for small businesses including marketing, photography, coaching and event planning. Along with their newly established Her Umbrella Academy, where women can go to learn all the tools they need to succeed in an entrepreneurial world.

The Her Umbrella Magazine launches at 6:30pm on Friday the 1st of June and will be celebrated with a launch party at Riverfeast Bundaberg.
